ISR Instructor · Mother of Five · Advocate for Water Safety
As a mother of five, including 8, 7, 5, and 3-year-old twins, I understand the importance of water safety in ways that are deeply personal. My journey into becoming an Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Instructor was shaped by my 15 years of EMS experience, where I responded to countless emergency calls — including pediatric drownings. The heartbreaking loss of a friend's young child and a near-drowning incident with one of my own twins opened my eyes to the critical need for early water safety education.
Having met my husband, a firefighter paramedic engineer, through my work in emergency services, I've always had a strong commitment to public safety. Together, we share a passion for keeping children safe, and he has been an incredible source of support in making this mission a family endeavor.
After spending seven years in Big Bear, we returned to my hometown of Menifee, where I'm now excited to take the next step in my mission to protect children from drowning. With my recent completion of ISR training under the guidance of an exceptional Master Instructor with eight years of coaching experience, I am ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
As a mother, I understand the worries and challenges parents face when it comes to water safety. My goal is to empower families with the knowledge that every child can learn the skills necessary to protect themselves. Together with my husband, I'm excited to embark on this journey to create a safer world for kids around water.
